Why are the last 3 digits of the originator replaced with 'xyz'? [Q1041]
There are certain restrictions if you would like to use numeric originators (e.g. '+41791234567'). Numeric originators may only be used if they have been unlocked in advance with an Unlockcode. This Unlockcode is sent to the corresponding mobile phone which should be used as the originator. Please be aware that many operators outside Switzerland automatically replace a numeric originator with a general originator, even if you have unlocked the numeric originator.

Important: You only need to follow this procedure if you plan to use numeric originators. If you use alphanumeric originators (e.g. 'MYSHOP'), there are no restrictions. Please note that misuse will in every case be prosecuted according to the terms of Civil and/or Criminal Law.

Originators from devices not capable of receiving SMS (e.g. fixed-line numbers) cannot be unlocked automatically. If you would like to use such a number, please contact support.
